Kailash Palace, also known as Kailash Rajbati, is an ancient palace located about 15 kilometres from the city of Deogarh in Odisha, India. It was built between 1916 and 1919 by Raja Dibya Shankar Deb and served as a resting place for the rulers of the ancient state of Bamanda. Today, it is a popular tourist destination for its tranquillity and historical value.

History
The building was designed as a royal residence for the family of the Raja of Bamanda.
The palace retains many original features of the era, as well as being located among hills, forests and picturesque villages. It is one of the few places where I could find rest away from the Indian hubbub. In 2004, the palace was recognised by the Odisha government as an ecotourism site.
